Appointments, appointments, so many appointments

With it being the start of the new year it's also the time that everyone heads back to the various doctors for well checks and re-checks and on January 15 we had just that.


We started the morning at the pediatrician for Grayson's 15 month well check. He checked out well (LOL). He weight 24.8 pounds and hasn't gained one pound since 8 months old. The doctor said that we did not need to be worried about because he got taller and he eats like a champion and even with no weight gain for 7 months he is still in the 66% for weight for his age.   He got three shots and two band aids.

Right after that appointment we walked across the parking lot to the dentist. Camden had his routine 6 month check up and everything looked good. Other than the 3 cavities he had late last year his teeth are doing great we are doing good at brushing them.

Grayson had his first check up ever at the dentist. He cried and screamed the entire time. He has all of the teeth that he should have for his age and is working on breaking in his 1 year molars.

This looks weird I know, but it is Grayson getting his teeth brushed by the dentist.

We got to take a break after that and eat lunch and then that afternoon we went back to the ENT for a follow on Grayson's left ear. There is still fluid in it and his ear is still not moving, so the doctor has decided it would be best to put tubes in his ears to help the fluid drain. On February 21 we get the tubes in and then on April 2 (6 weeks later) we will go back for a hearing test to see if his hearing has improved any in his left ear with the fluid draining. This is kind of nerve racking as we still have to wait a while to know, but at least it's a step forward in the right direction.
